More Than 3,400 Flee Yemen to Djibouti's Obock in 48 Hours

More than 3,400 people fleeing renewed fighting in Yemen landed near Obock on Djibouti's northern coast in 48 hours to Sept. 15, Djibouti's state news agency reported. The surge followed a Houthi offensive seizing Mocha and advancing toward the Bab al-Mandeb strait, a narrow waterway. Djibouti, with fewer than 1.2 million people, deployed coastguard, navy and health teams.
