More than 3,400 flee Yemen to Djibouti in 48 hours

More than 3,400 people fleeing renewed fighting in Yemen landed near Obock on Djibouti's northern coast in 48 hours to September 15, Djibouti's state news agency reported. The surge followed a Houthi offensive seizing Mocha and advancing toward the Bab al-Mandeb strait. Djibouti, with fewer than 1.2 million people, deployed coastguard, navy and health teams.
