Intruder Still at Large After Breach at RAAF Base Darwin

An unidentified man is still on the run after entering RAAF Base Darwin in Winnellie on Monday afternoon without permission and assaulting a defence member, according to Defence. NT Police, leading the investigation, responded about 4:30pm. The base — Australia's air force base — shares a runway with Darwin airport and hosts U.S. Marine aviation support.
