Intruder on the run after breaking into RAAF Base Darwin, assaulting member

An unidentified man remains on the run after Defence says he "unlawfully gained access" to RAAF Base Darwin in Winnellie on Monday afternoon and assaulted a defence member. NT Police, leading the investigation, responded about 4.30pm. The base shares a runway with Darwin airport and hosts US Marine aviation support.
