Waymo starts driverless taxi service in Las Vegas

Waymo opened public robotaxi service in Las Vegas on September 14, 2026, following Nevada regulatory approval, adding riders on a rolling basis. The Alphabet-owned operator is starting with dozens of Ojai minivans covering the Strip south of Highway 589 to Boulder Junction. Las Vegas is its 15th commercial market.
