Gulf States Delay First Hormuz Talks With Iran in Two Years

Gulf states postponed Sept. 14 talks with Iran on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the oil lane, the first GCC — Gulf bloc — meeting with Iran in two years. Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi called the delay 'in the interests of consensus' amid lack of Arab consensus and Saudi anger over Tehran's support for Yemen's Houthis.
