Gulf States Postpone First Hormuz Talks With Iran in Two Years

Gulf states postponed a Sept. 14 meeting with Iran on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the first GCC-Iran meeting in two years. Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi said the delay was "in the interests of consensus." The postponement was attributed to lack of Arab consensus and Saudi anger over Tehran's support for Houthis in Yemen.
