Google to bring AI age checks to Canada

Google says it will gradually start estimating users' ages in Canada in the coming days. The system looks at account activity, such as searches and YouTube viewing, to flag accounts under 18. Those accounts get stricter limits on recommended content. Adults flagged in error can confirm their age with government ID or a selfie.
