Rights committee urges AI Bill

Parliament's Joint Committee on Human Rights said Britain needs an AI Bill. It said laws are fragmented and leave gaps in protection. Chair Alex Sobel MP said nowhere in the world, including the UK, has an AI approach fit for purpose. It proposed a watchdog set up by law and stricter rules for higher-risk uses.
