Anthropic CEO outlines plan to slow advanced AI work

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei proposed a three-step plan, called 'pace the frontier,' to slow training and development of the most advanced AI models. The proposal, titled 'We Must Pace the Frontier,' starts with Anthropic acting alone, then industry-wide safety standards, then international agreement.
