Nepal: 121 Workers May Be Trapped in Power Tunnels

Nepal's Army says about 121 of 900 missing workers may be trapped inside hydropower tunnels — underground passages that carry water to generate electricity. Rescuers are focusing on three tunnels, including Chilime and Upper Trishuli 3A. An Aug. 31 report listed 933 missing across 11 hydropower projects in the flood-hit region.
