Labuschagne retained in Australia Test squad despite two-year century drought
Australia kept Marnus Labuschagne in their 16-player Test squad for the three-match South Africa tour starting in Durban on 9 October. He scored 1, 31 and 4 against Bangladesh in Mackay. His last Test hundred came in the 2023 Ashes — over two years without a century for a player who topped the ICC Test batting rankings that same year. He now competes with Josh Inglis and Cooper Connolly for a place in the XI.
