Toronto festival party count rises even as studio spending keeps falling

Toronto venue operator Charles Khabouth expects 60 events across his downtown TIFF venues during the festival's September 10–20 run, up from 46 last year, The Hollywood Reporter reported on August 28, 2026. Studio and streamer party spending in Toronto has contracted since COVID and will keep falling, Khabouth said. Roughly 35 events are full-scale parties averaging 200 guests.
