SCAD Savannah Screened 26 Oscar Nominees Last Year as 29th Edition Approaches

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival, running October 24–31 in Georgia, screened 26 films last year that went on to receive Oscar nominations, including eight Best Picture nominees, according to Variety. Over 200 SCAD alumni worked on 21 nominated films. The eight-day, university-led festival drew more than 74,000 attendees. Passes are on sale now; individual tickets open October 2.
