Jon Batiste to Narrate and Executive Produce IMAX Documentary 'American Amazon'

MacGillivray Freeman Films announced that eight-time Grammy, Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe winner Jon Batiste will narrate, appear on screen in and executive produce "American Amazon," a giant screen documentary on the wetlands across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and the Carolinas. It premieres 13 November in IMAX and giant screen theatres; a two-part PBS "Nature" miniseries follows in early 2027.
