Whitney chief curator Kim Conaty named director of Dartmouth's Hood Museum

Kim Conaty, chief curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, has been named the eighth director of the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She begins in October. The appointment ends a national search that The Dartmouth reported was still ongoing in mid-July. Conaty succeeds John Stomberg, director since 2015.
