Over 10,000 march against NZ First bill defining woman and man in law

More than 10,000 people protested across five cities on 14 June against NZ First's member's bill to define 'woman' and 'man' biologically in statute. The bill, before a select committee (a parliamentary inquiry group) reviewing public submissions, would change how these terms appear across all New Zealand laws. Organisers said it erases transgender legal recognition.
