Junior doctors plan third strike in eight months, despite pay deal
The BMA has called a five-day strike in England from 15–19 June 2026, the third walkout since November 2025. This breaks the September 2024 settlement, in which resident doctors accepted a 22.3% pay rise (voted 66% in favour) after 15 months of strikes. The action suggests disputes over pay progression and contract terms remain unresolved.
