Ukraine Damages Russian Black Sea Oil Terminal, Disrupting Energy Exports
Ukrainian drones hit the Tamanneftegaz terminal near Taman on June 13, destroying five fuel storage tanks and two loading racks—the machinery that pumps oil into tanker ships. The terminal is Russia's main Black Sea export point for crude and refined petroleum. While stored fuel can be moved elsewhere, damaged loading racks directly halt shipments, a bottleneck harder to fix quickly.
