Dan + Shay's 'Say So' mourns Ben Vaughn, the publishing exec who signed them first

Dan + Shay's sixth album 'Young' arrived 21 August 2026 on Warner Records Nashville/Warner Music Canada. Its lead single, 'Say So,' confronts the 2025 death by suicide of Ben Vaughn, head of Warner Chappell Music. Vaughn signed Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney to their first publishing deal before they were a band, Billboard reports. The 10-track set follows 2024's 'Bigger Houses.'
