Gloucester will not re-contract Jack Singleton after cardiac recovery

Gloucester hooker Jack Singleton, 30, is nearing the end of a year-long rehabilitation programme after a cardiac event in training in September 2025 and has been cleared to consider a return to full training. Despite that medical progress, Gloucester have confirmed he will not be contracted for the 2026-27 season. Singleton has seven England caps and 75 Gloucester appearances.
