Instagram's December 2025 feature, 'Your Algorithm,' shows users the interest categories its recommendation system has inferred about them. Users can now view and modify these topics to reshape their Reels and Explore feeds. The platform surfaces a human-readable list of inferred interests rather than exposing the ranking system itself—behavioral signals like watch time remain hidden underneath. It's the first consolidated control Instagram has offered over recommendation inputs.
