MoMA PS1 names permanent restaurant Symone, by chef DeVonn Francis

MoMA PS1, the contemporary art institution in Long Island City, Queens, has named its newest in-house restaurant Symone, helmed by chef DeVonn Francis, founder of culinary studio Yardy. Artnews reported the news on 20 August 2026. Francis previously catered the museum's 50th Anniversary Gala After Party in May 2026. An opening date has not been disclosed. Symone will be permanent, not a pop-up.
