GM Energy Pushes into Sodium-Ion Batteries, Moving Past Lithium Reliance

GM Energy is deploying sodium-ion batteries for grid storage and vehicle-to-grid systems — the first major Western automaker energy unit to scale a chemistry long dominated by China.
