McDonagh's 'Wild Horse Nine' to Open Mill Valley Film Festival Ahead of November Searchlight Release

Martin McDonagh's "Wild Horse Nine" will open the 49th Mill Valley Film Festival on 1 October, The Hollywood Reporter says. The film, starring John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell as CIA operatives on Easter Island before Chile's 1973 coup, premieres in competition at Venice first (2–12 September). Searchlight Pictures releases it in US theatres on 6 November.
