Paramount+ revives 'Clueless' sequel after Peacock passed

Paramount+ greenlighted a 'Clueless' sequel event series starring Alicia Silverstone, picking it up off a pilot script after Peacock scrapped the project in April 2026. Remaining episodes are unwritten. CBS Studios produces; filming starts in Los Angeles in 2027. No premiere date is set. Deadline reported the greenlight on 17 August 2026.
