Jordan and Butler lead Universal's 'Miami Vice '85,' Imax-dated for May 2028

Universal has set Michael B. Jordan as Ricardo Tubbs and Austin Butler as James Crockett in 'Miami Vice '85,' a Joseph Kosinski-directed reimagining of the 1980s TV pilot. Dan Gilroy scripted; Dylan Clark and Kosinski produce. Imax release is dated 19 May 2028. Production is eyeing a November start in New York and Miami, per Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter.
