Charlie Dean to captain England women in Ireland ODI series as Sciver-Brunt rested

Charlie Dean will captain England women in their three-match ODI series against Ireland in September 2025, becoming the 20th woman to lead England in a women's ODI. Regular skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt was rested for the entire series. Dean previously captained England against Scotland and the West Indies earlier in 2025 after Sciver-Brunt was injured.
