Netflix acquires Brat TV's 'Sunshine Girls' for December 2026 premiere

Netflix has acquired the YA coming-of-age series "Sunshine Girls" from Brat TV, a ZATV division with over 5.5 million YouTube subscribers known for teen titles like "Chicken Girls." The series, created by Rob Fishman and Nuria Anson and starring Alma Marian, Isabella Fowler and Erin Rose Park, is set for a December 2026 premiere window. Netflix also unveiled "Sid & Zoey," a supernatural gothic romance from creator Jon Kasdan, with Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Bad Robot attached.
