GOG's Quality Review Failed to Stop Nazi Symbol in Newsletter

GOG's German quality assurance team flagged concerns about a promotional newsletter for The End of the Sun sent June 5, 2024. The newsletter contained imagery resembling the Black Sun, a symbol appropriated by Nazis. That warning never reached other regional review teams. About half of GOG's subscribers received it before distribution stopped. The failure was organizational: a regional safety signal simply wasn't routed to global deployment oversight.
