Jennifer Stone told the "CHEERS! with Avery" podcast she auditioned for a series regular role on Max's medical drama The Pitt while working as an ER nurse, a job she began in 2022. She studied lines during shifts, reading them in pockets of downtime while waiting for patient admissions. Stone did not land the role. The Hollywood Reporter published the account on 12 August 2026.
