England and Wales courts bar Meta smart glasses at the door

Court staff across England and Wales will confiscate Meta smart glasses from anyone entering judicial buildings. Unlike smartphones, which may enter if not used to record, the glasses receive no such exception — though they are returned on exit. New York and Maryland courts have imposed comparable bans. The devices sold 7 million pairs last year.
