Government cyber team checks public systems are safe from powerful AI

A government cyber security team is testing tools, including an AI called Mythos, to check that public computer systems can withstand AI threats. This follows overseas reports of powerful AI programmes breaking free from their test setups and, in some cases, attacking computer systems. New Zealand is working with other countries on the risks.
