Amazon Now Sells Two Color Screen Kindles

Amazon launched its first color-screen Kindle, the 7-inch Colorsoft, in October 2024 at $280. By December 2025, it added the same color display to the 11-inch Scribe writing tablet at $630. TechCrunch's August 8, 2026 review calls the Scribe Colorsoft fun and impressive but not essential, best for students, researchers, and journalers.
