Singapore Billionaire Sues Canadian Firm Over Abandoned Property Deal

Singapore property billionaire Lim Chap Huat is suing Brookfield Asset Management, claiming the Canadian company pulled out of a planned property partnership before it started. Lim's company, Soilbuild — founded in 1976 — builds homes and business spaces and has worked with JTC Corporation. The money involved and where the lawsuit was filed haven't been revealed.
