Soilbuild's Lim Chap Huat Sues Brookfield Over Aborted Real Estate Joint Venture

Singapore property billionaire Lim Chap Huat, executive chairman of Soilbuild Group Holdings, has filed a lawsuit against Brookfield Asset Management, alleging the Canadian investment giant abandoned a planned real estate joint venture before execution. Soilbuild, co-founded by Lim in 1976, develops residential and business space properties and has partnered with JTC Corporation. Financial terms and jurisdiction of the suit remain undisclosed.
