Spain Busts smuggling Ring That Sold Drugs Out and Migrants In

Spanish police arrested 78 people in a smuggling ring that sent drugs and weapons to Algeria by boat, then returned carrying migrants — over 50 at a time in dark, crowded boats. Each migrant paid up to €12,000. The ring made over €24 million from migrants alone. Spain called it one of the largest of its kind.
