SpaceX Picks Natural Gas, Not Tesla Solar, to Power Huge New Texas Chip Factory

SpaceX will build 41 natural gas turbines — not Tesla solar panels — to power its planned $16.8 billion Texas chip factory. A company energy lead said SpaceX will be "bringing our own power," with backup batteries included. The turbines range from 16.48 to 50 MW. Chips are intended for SpaceX and xAI data centers.
