Parties took $468,000 in secret donations in six months

Political parties received $468,160 in donations where the giver's name stays secret, Electoral Commission figures show — already more than the whole 2023 election period. National got $316,160 of it. A 2023 review said the scheme should go; Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith called it "not a priority."
