Luxon says voters could get another say on MMP in 2027

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says voters will get a referendum on the MMP voting system in 2027 if his government wins the 7 November election. MMP is the system Aotearoa uses to elect MPs to Parliament. He made the pledge on Newstalk ZB. Labour leader Chris Hipkins called it unnecessary, noting voters kept MMP in 2011.
