Lucid Delays Its First Affordable Electric Car to 2027

Lucid Motors pushed back its Cosmos crossover — an electric SUV aimed at a starting price below $50,000 — to the second half of 2027, about a year later than planned. CEO Silvio Napoli said the delay is meant to prevent the quality problems that affected Lucid's existing Air and Gravity vehicles.
