Lucid Delays Affordable Cosmos EV to Second Half of 2027

Lucid Motors delayed its Cosmos crossover — the first vehicle on its next-generation mid-size platform, targeting a sub-$50,000 starting price — to the second half of 2027, nearly a year later than planned. CEO Silvio Napoli said the delay is intended to avoid the quality problems that affected Lucid's existing Air and Gravity vehicles.
