Robinhood to let everyday investors buy into startup companies for $25 a share
Robinhood will list a new fund on August 13 at about $25 per share, aiming to raise up to $200 million. The fund will buy ownership stakes in startups tied to Y Combinator, a well-known startup accelerator. Investors own fund shares, not pieces of the startups directly. Robinhood began taking share requests on August 3.
