UK regulator scraps 7-day research waiting rule for stock market launches

The FCA dropped a rule forcing banks' analysts to wait 7 days before publishing research during UK stock market launches (policy PS26/16, 5 August 2026). Their review found the delay added cost and risk without protecting investors. Now all analysts can publish at once.
