Conservatives keep candidate who was jailed for neo-Nazi activity

The Conservative Party has chosen Joshua Bonehill-Paine as its local council candidate in Crewkerne South, Somerset. He spent three years in prison for neo-Nazi activity and was convicted of racially harassing MP Luciana Berger. Leader Kemi Badenoch said the party believes in second chances. The Board of Deputies of British Jews said it "beggars belief" and wants him removed.
