Spotify Reaches 300 Million Paying Listeners Even After Raising Prices

Spotify topped 300 million paying subscribers for the first time in the second quarter of 2026, growing 9% despite raising U.S. prices in January. Revenue reached €4.8 billion, up 14% from a year earlier. Total listeners hit 777 million across 184 countries. The growth suggests customers will pay more, though growth in newer markets may also explain part of it.
