Gaza Holds Mass Funeral for 112 People Found in Rubble From 2023 Airstrike

A mass funeral in Gaza honored 112 people whose remains were pulled from rubble of a November 2023 Israeli airstrike on a Gaza City apartment building. Rescue teams said about 180 civilians were inside and roughly 90% died. Teams couldn't reach the site for years because they needed Israel's permission, arranged through the Red Cross. Dozens more bodies may still be trapped there.
