OpenAI Publishes Private Legal Emails to Push Back Against Apple Lawsuit

On August 3, 2026, OpenAI published a blog post titled "Apple is getting this wrong." In it, OpenAI called Apple's lawsuit over stolen confidential business information "careless, aggressive, and oddly personal," and released private legal emails between the two companies' lawyers.
