
HP's Budget Gaming Laptop Is Gone, Replaced by a Pricier Model
HP replaced its $800 Victus 15 gaming laptop with the $1,199 HyperX Omen 15. A memory-chip shortage pushed prices up. HP still sells a $900 Victus, but its 8GB of memory is low for next year's games. The budget category HP once led now has no real replacement.
