Florida Wants to Use Electric Car Charging Money for Flying Taxi Pads

Florida plans to redirect $200 million in federal electric car charging funds toward 32 landing pads for flying taxis, at sites like golf courses and luxury apartments. The state never spent the charging money, saying private stations are enough. Federal highway officials must still approve shifting funds to a transportation mode with no paying passengers yet.
